Terms of sale

I. General Provisions
I.1 Scope
These Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter the “Terms”) govern the conditions under which SONNEY, brand founded by Lora Sonney, offers its products for sale through the website www.sonneyparis.com (hereinafter the “Site”).
I.2 Customers
Any customer placing an order via the Site must be a consumer, meaning a non-professional individual purchasing products for personal use only.
Customers must be of legal age or have legal guardian consent and full legal capacity to enter into a contract.
I.3 Acceptance of the Terms
Placing an order on the Site implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms. Customers are invited to read these Terms carefully and retain a copy.
The applicable version of the Terms is the one in effect at the time the order is placed.
SONNEY reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. The updated version is always available on the Site, with the latest revision date indicated at the top of this page.
II. Products
II.1 Information & Characteristics
Product details (name, images, size, composition, etc.) are available on the respective product pages.
SONNEY aims to provide the most accurate descriptions possible. However, minor differences may exist due to the handmade nature of the products or screen display variations.
Customers are encouraged to contact us for any additional information prior to purchasing.
II.2 Images
Product photos on the Site are for illustrative purposes only and are not contractual.
Color, texture, and material may vary slightly from one piece to another due to artisanal production methods.
Only the written description of each product is considered contractual.
II.3 Prices
Prices are listed in Euros (€), including VAT, and exclude shipping fees.
Shipping costs are calculated and displayed before confirming the order.
SONNEY reserves the right to change prices at any time. However, any such changes will not affect orders already placed.
In the event of an obvious pricing error, the order will be cancelled and any payment refunded.
II.4 Product Modifications & Availability
SONNEY reserves the right to:
Limit or discontinue the sale of any product at any time, without prior notice
Modify product details, without affecting confirmed orders
If one or more items in an order are unavailable, only the available items will be shipped and invoiced. The unavailable items will be cancelled and refunded.
Please note: items in your cart are not reserved and may be purchased by other customers at any time.
II.5 Order Limitations
Products are sold exclusively to individuals for personal use. SONNEY reserves the right to limit or cancel orders that appear to be commercial in nature (e.g., large quantities).
III. Orders & Pre-orders
III.1 Types of Orders
Orders refer to items currently in stock and available for immediate purchase.
Pre-orders refer to items made-to-order and produced following the customer's purchase.
III.2 Customer Account
To place an order or pre-order, the customer may need to create an account and provide personal information.
Account creation requires acceptance of the Privacy Policy.
SONNEY commits to processing personal data in compliance with GDPR regulations.
III.3 Ordering Process
To place an order or pre-order:

Select the item(s) of your choice

Choose size, color, and quantity (if applicable)

Add the product(s) to your cart

Enter your shipping and billing information

Accept the Terms & Privacy Policy

Confirm and pay for your order
The order is confirmed upon receipt of a confirmation email containing a summary and order number.
No changes can be made once the order is confirmed.
III.4 Cancellation by SONNEY
SONNEY reserves the right to cancel an order or pre-order for the following reasons:
Payment authorization failure
Suspected fraudulent or unauthorized activity
Any legitimate reason that may compromise the order or the brand
In case of cancellation, the customer will be notified via email and refunded in full.
III.5 Payment
Customers are required to pay for their order in full (including applicable VAT, shipping, and any service fees).
All payments are processed via secure platforms (Shopify Payments, etc.).
Invoices are issued electronically and based on the information provided during checkout.
IV. Shipping & Delivery
IV.1 Shipping
Orders and pre-orders are shipped using trusted delivery services.
Shipping addresses must be complete and accurate; SONNEY is not responsible for delivery issues due to incorrect information.
Estimated delivery times are shown on product pages or during checkout.
Customers acknowledge that pre-orders involve longer production and delivery timelines.
SONNEY will inform the customer of shipping updates and tracking information.
IV.2 Delivery Inspection
Upon delivery, the customer must verify:
The number of packages delivered
The condition of the package (undamaged, unopened, dry, etc.)
Any issues must be reported to the carrier and SONNEY immediately.
V. Returns & Withdrawal
V.1 Right of Withdrawal
Customers have 14 days from receipt of their order to request a return or exercise their legal right of withdrawal, without needing to provide a reason.
V.2 How to Request a Return
To return an item, customers must:
Contact SONNEY at contact@sonneyparis.com within 14 days
Return the item(s) in perfect condition, unworn, with all original packaging and tags
Cover the return shipping costs (unless otherwise agreed)
Returns sent without prior notice will not be accepted.
Custom-made and made-to-order products are not eligible for return.
V.3 Refunds
Refunds are processed within 14 business days of receiving the return. Original shipping costs are refunded only up to the amount of the cheapest delivery option.
The refund is made using the same payment method as the original transaction.
VI. Legal Warranty
Products are covered by the legal warranty of conformity and protection against hidden defects, in accordance with French and European consumer laws.
In case of a defect or non-compliance, customers must contact SONNEY promptly at contact@sonneyparis.com.
VII. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, logos, images, product designs, and content on the Site are the exclusive property of SONNEY.
Any unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited.
VIII. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by French law.
